Season of Dreams
Originally released in 2007, Season of Dreams is the first film to fully explore the deep-rooted connection Saskatchewan people have to the game of football. The film covers the wide spectrum of Saskatchewan football, cutting from the Roughriders to the Saskatoon Hilltops to the frigid Vanier Cup national university final at Griffiths Stadium. They also touch on a yearly tradition known as the Stubble Bowl, an annual fun football tournament played on a farmer’s field near Eston, Saskatchewan. Former Roughrider and current CFL broadcaster Glen Suitor narrates the film.
